The color palette for your wedding or event can make a huge difference in the feel and impact for your guests. Different colors effect us in different ways. Warm ambers make us feel safe and comfortable. Blues and purples bring out excitement and the feel of outdoors. While reds and pinks have a passionate edge to them. You can use deep colors or softer colors to help achieve the right feel for you. The important thing is to experiment and remember.

There are no bad colors only bad color combinations.

Below you will find examples of different light colors on some of our decor rental and draping. We used helios pads to give a white reference point in each picture.

Blue is the favorite color of all people. It’s nature’s color for water and sky. It is cold, wet, and slow as compared to red’s warmth, fire, and intensity.
Dark blue: trust, dignity, intelligence, authority
Bright blue: cleanliness, strength, dependability, coolness
Light (sky) blue: peace, serenity, ethereal, spiritual, infinity

Green is no longer just a color. It’s now the symbol of ecology and a verb.
Since the beginning of time, green has signified growth, rebirth, and fertility.

Purple symbolizes nobility and luxury to most people in the world.
Purple symbolizes magic, mystery, spirituality, the sub-conscious, creativity, dignity, royalty – and it evokes all of these meanings more so than any other color.
Variations of purple convey different meanings: Light purples are light-hearted, floral, and romantic. The dark shades are more intellectual and dignified.

Red is the color of extremes. It’s the color of passionate love, seduction, violence, danger, anger, and adventure. Our prehistoric ancestors saw red as the color of fire and blood – energy and primal life forces – and most of red’s symbolism today arises from its powerful associations in the past.

Orange symbolizes energy, vitality, cheer, excitement, adventure, warmth, and good health. Darker oranges offer a sense of comfort; some are spicy, some are earthy. Lighter oranges are soothing and healthy.
(Nothing rhymes with orange)

A blend of amber and blue make for a warm night feel with a mix of comfort and excitement.
